[21.11.09 – 28.11.09] Top 20

Considering how I’ve become addicted to ‘You’re Beautiful’ in the past four days, it’s really no surprise when you see them making up almost half of my Top 20 XD. The drama is brilliant, and all the tracks used are really well composed unlike BOF’s T___T.

Oh, and I’m also quite surprised at how at least one English song has made it onto my list thus far. I guess I’m really beginning to broaden my music taste to more styles and languages.

When fandom is your life

I posted this on my private blog just to let my friends have an insight as to how exciting Kpop can be. Except I think I may have freaked them out instead ;__;.

So, you know you’ve lost your life you’re a Kpop fanatic if:

1. you immediately think of SJ’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ when people apologise repeatedly.
2. ‘omg’ reminds you of SNSD’s ‘Gee’.
3. ‘Tell Me’, ‘So Hot’ and ‘Nobody’ are totally hilarious (This happened to me the other day ;~;. My brother: Tell me why is the car so hot? Me: ‘cos nobody parked it in the garage. Yeah…>___>)
4. ‘It’s you’ makes you think of ‘neo-ra-go~’
5. you understand what I mean by ‘study study study, I hate you’ (you know it’s got something to do with SJH ;D)
6. the phrase ‘Again & again’ is somehow linked to 2pm.
7. you singing ‘I don’t care’ bothers your mum ‘cos she thinks you really don’t care, except it’s just really because 2NE1 sings it and the song is stuck in your head.
8. you know what 8282 means.
9. ‘Hi ya ya’ is totally copyrighted by DBSK.
10. the word ‘Noona’ makes you think of SHINee.
11. Erotic is almost the same as ‘Mirotic’.
12. you have the urge to sing “I’m sorry you’ve got the wrong number~” to a person who’s uh…dialled the wrong number XDD.
13. the number thirteen is actually a lucky number.
14. you love DBSJ.
15. you know ‘Only 13’ supporters need some therapy, quick.

29. SNSJ’s cover of ‘Way back into love’ is 9389764261x >>> than the original (ok, so I’m biased).
30. you have picked up Korean ‘cos you want to be able to communicate with your idols one day. OR
31. you would love to pick up Korean, but you just cbb. You’ll just talk to Kibum/Henry/Yoochun/Jaebum/Taecyeon/Yoobin that doesn’t apply now since all WG members can speak English/Tiffany/Jessica or Han Geng/Zhou Mi, depending on the language you prefer :D.

Yeah, my bias made it to the list quite a lot XDDD. The list was just for fun; I know not all these apply to every single fan.

F.T Island sings ‘Fire’, rock style

Oh boys ♥♥. Hongki’s hair made me rofl so much. Everyone loves Dara’s hairstyle XDDD. Seunghyun’s rap was awesome. Although…did I hear him say “you better get horse”?! LOOOL. It’s ok bb, the English rap is quite a mouthful <3.

2NE1 covers ‘Last Farewell’

These girls were fine *___*. I thought the 2NE1-1 at the beginning was a bit awkward, but the girls definitely gave their best in the performance. (And well, this is one of my favourite Big Bang songs too :D.)

Their energy level! It’s amazing. Not exactly loving Minji’s gloves, but that girl; can you believe she’s only 15?! No way.

2NE1; I don’t care mv

I know, I know, I’m ultra slow at posting this up.

I really, really like this mv ♥. The mv, plus the song, is 10x better than ‘Fire’, imo. Not that I dislike ‘Fire’. I’m quite addicted to the song actually. But I love how we’re able to hear the girls sing in this song. A bonus, y/y? xD And the lyrics are pretty good too.

This song is going to be on repeat on my itunes for quite a while…^^”.

2NE1 debut stage on Inkigayo

Ok, this song is realllllllyyyyyyyy catchy.

I don’t like how most of the song seems to be lipsynced in the performance. Yes, I know there was parts of the song which wasn’t lipsynched, but I was actually rather looking forward to hearing the girls sing LIVE. Then again, I guesss it is their debut stage afterall…hopefully we’ll be able to hear more parts of the song being sung live ^^. I loved the whole elevator thing in the beginning; YG is definitely put a lot of effort into making 2NE1’s debut a memorable event.
