Junho to debut as a singer

A;dslkjfas;ldkjf! And he’s going to be singing in CHINESE ♥. I hope his Chinese lessons have paid off ^^.

When Kim Junsu’s twin, Kim Junho, made his debut in 2009, it aroused a lot of interest. Kim Junho’s company expressed recently, Junho’s first musical work “I Love You” will be introduced to everyone by the end of August (latest September). Within the single, both the Korean and Chinese version of “I Love You” is recorded, and the lyrics for the Korean version were personally written by his brother, Kim Junsu.

Also, because of the special nature of the single, this single will not be released at music stores, it’s just a gift from Junho to his fans.

Single introduction:
“I Love You” is a gentle ballad with a beautiful melody. It is moving and touching, and the lyrics also portray a deep love you feel for a lover. Together with Junho’s heartfelt singing, this is a single that is worth collecting.

090617 Having Lunch “With” Xiah Junsu

I am a Tohoshinki fanboy. I have all their Japanese albums, from the 1st to the 4th, and I have the 2nd and 3rd Live Tour DVDs; I even watched the T Tour DVD yesterday.

At around 1pm, my mom texted me to have lunch with her at a restaurant nearby. I didn’t feel like it, but I did. After lunch, we were about to leave when I realised that Xiah Junsu and his manager was having a meal at the table on the left!

It could be because he had no make up on, so I didn’t recognise him straight away. A husky, melodious voice asked for “a bowl of cold ramen”. It’s really Xiah Junsu! It’s my first time seeing a celebrity so close, and it’s a singer that I listen to the most; it was amazing! So, I plucked up my courage and walked over and asked for an autograph. He even talked to me for about a minute.

I told Xiah Junsu that I love the “Summer singles” and he sung “Summer Dream”, then he laughed and said “I really like Sky too~” I even asked him if they were holding the national tour now. I found out that they had their Osaka concert and Nagoya’s will take place the day after, and that they were back in Korea in between. I’m so happy!

It’s sweet of the boys to thank their fans ^^. Although, I think the highlight of this translation is “TEAM CHANCE”, aka, Changmin + Junsu :DD. I think if you say that in Japanese, it’ll probably sound like ‘chansu’…or something like that xD. Don’t quote me on it, I stopped learning Japanese years ago ^^”.

Idol voices: Junsu is really good; Yongsaeng, Ryeowook, Daesung only “acceptable”

There are so many things I disagree with in this article -___-. I mean, I know they’re providing ‘critisms’, but to say Ryeowook “only sings the high parts within Super Junior” is going a bit too far. Yes, he does mostly sing high parts, but they obviously don’t follow SuJu closely, since I’ve heard him sing pretty low parts too. I’ve bolded the parts which I think the judges should reconsider i.e. eat their words and choke.

The April issue of men’s fashion magazine “Arena” judged the talents of the main vocals of idol groups. Group DongBangShinGi’s Xiah JunSu received the highest praise, SoNyuhShiDae’s TaeYeon and Wonder Girls’ SunYe were given similar marks. SS501’s Huh YoungSeng and Big Bang’s DaeSung, Super Junior’s RyeoWook received the lowest marks.

The judging was done by singer Kim YunWoo, pop music critic Cha WooJin, and M.Net’s Park ChanWook PD. The three said of Xiah JunSu’s voice, “The reason why his vocal does not exceptionally stand out is because of DongBangShinGi’s songs,” and “He is a commendable vocalist who we feel sorry to label as an idol singer.” Kim YunWoo said, “He gives a nice feel of having talent as well as having received much training.”

Although not as skilled in comparison with Xiah JunSu, Shinee’s JongHyun received positive feedback. They stated, “He is a singer whose next step we are anticipating more than his current stand,” and “JongHyun’s vocal is one of the reasons why Shinee succeeded.”
