THIS MAN IS BEYOND AWESOME. How does he do it?! I like how he adds his own feel into his playing <3.

Take a look at his cover of Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’. Man, it’s too good *___*.

Prepare to be disturbed xD. These guys are back again, only this time round, they’re dancing to Big Bang’s ‘Lies’ and Wonder Girls’ ‘Tell Me’ (remix). Actually, they’re quite good at it. I guess if this keeps them from fighting each other and occupied, then it’s quite a good idea. But next time…try SuJu’s ‘Sorry Sorry’? XD

There are so many things I disagree with in this article -___-. I mean, I know they’re providing ‘critisms’, but to say Ryeowook “only sings the high parts within Super Junior” is going a bit too far. Yes, he does mostly sing high parts, but they obviously don’t follow SuJu closely, since I’ve heard him sing pretty low parts too. I’ve bolded the parts which I think the judges should reconsider i.e. eat their words and choke.

The April issue of men’s fashion magazine “Arena” judged the talents of the main vocals of idol groups. Group DongBangShinGi’s Xiah JunSu received the highest praise, SoNyuhShiDae’s TaeYeon and Wonder Girls’ SunYe were given similar marks. SS501’s Huh YoungSeng and Big Bang’s DaeSung, Super Junior’s RyeoWook received the lowest marks.

The judging was done by singer Kim YunWoo, pop music critic Cha WooJin, and M.Net’s Park ChanWook PD. The three said of Xiah JunSu’s voice, “The reason why his vocal does not exceptionally stand out is because of DongBangShinGi’s songs,” and “He is a commendable vocalist who we feel sorry to label as an idol singer.” Kim YunWoo said, “He gives a nice feel of having talent as well as having received much training.”

Although not as skilled in comparison with Xiah JunSu, Shinee’s JongHyun received positive feedback. They stated, “He is a singer whose next step we are anticipating more than his current stand,” and “JongHyun’s vocal is one of the reasons why Shinee succeeded.”

With all the hype of MR videos right now, I decided to go and listen to a few myself. I was pleasantly surprised by a few of the performances too. It’s not that I expected horrible singing or anything, since well…these people kind of make a living out of singing, but with some people critisising and saying how certain idol groups have pretty shaky vocals, I have to say that I didn’t hear any of that. Maybe it’s just that the live performances I listened to weren’t as bad. I guess we also have to keep in mind that not all live performances are smooth sailing for the singers. With that said, here’s a few performances I watched.

Super Junior:

Marry U – This is one of my favourite songs by them :D. There were a few shaky moments, but overall, I think the boys did relatively well. To  me, Yesung’s voice really stood out; maybe it’s because he sounds exactly the same when singing live and when recorded. Ahh, if only the screaming was cut out or had its volume lowered =/.

I don’t know if people find this overly obsessive or what, but to me, yes. Not to the point of freaking out, but definitely a bit too much love for the girls.

WG fan's room

I guess to me, posters are alright, but layering the floor with ones idol is going a bit too far. Or this could have been because the fan wanted to take a photo of all the posters he/she has of WG and arranged the posters like that. But to have a poster right at the head of a bed…a little too obsessed maybe?

WG fan's room 2 WG fan's room 3

I’m kind of scared for the parents of this fan. Not so much because he/she is a stalker of WG, but more so for the amount of time (and money) this person has spent on his/her idol. And here I was, thinking I spend far too much time on my Kpop addiction. I guess I’m the ‘tamer’ fans out there who doesn’t have to buy every single thing DBSK/Super Junior/etc. have released. And I don’t hate on the girls who happen to be unfortunate enough (or is it fortunate?) to have a kiss scene with a pop idol. For a drama.
