T-ara’s ‘Lies’ mv

Having heard so much about this group in the past few months, it’s hard to believe these girls are only just debuting ^^.

This song honestly took me by surprise. I don’t usually like songs upon first listen, but ‘Lies’ is one of the rare exceptions. It’s just got something I like, and mv is pretty good too. Yes, the whole boy cheating on girl storyline is a bit overused, but in this case, I think the girls pulled it off quite well. The dancing though, they could have done with a better choreography, imo.

Now I’ve only got to learn their names and put name to face. Give me about a couple of weeks to a month for me to accomplish that ;__;.

Kara, ‘Wanna’ mv

With girlgroups dominating 2009’s music scene, I thought I’d expand my girl group idols a bit further than just SNSD.

Um, I don’t think I’m digging the song :/. I had hoped that after shedding their cutesy image, I’d like Kara more (‘cos I dislike all the lollipops and overly sweet stuff from girl idols), but the song is just ‘meh’ for me. I like the concept of the mv though funnily enough, considering the high level of cliche involved. The song, on the other hand, is just not for me. I don’t the like the whole repetitiveness of the song; it’s just a bit off putting for me.

But then again, if you’ve been following my blog from the early stages, you’ll also know that my first impression of SNSD’s ‘Gee’ wasn’t entirely good either. And now, however many months later, I’m loving the song ♥.

Maybe a few more listens will do the trick? Idk.

Mini SuJus perform ‘Sorry Sorry’

ADORABLE *____*. I’d really, really love to see the boys’ reaction after watching this clip. These kids! They are all sorts of cute and sweet and as;dlkfjsdklfj rolled into one ♥. Can you believe they’re only in kindergarten?

The leader (I think he’s the ‘leader?) was too awesome ♥♥♥. So into the dancing and omgsh, I’m ashamed at my lack of dancing skills ;~;. I love the ‘dan-dan-dan’ part XD. And! The intricate hand movement at 2:27 is love ♥♥♥♥♥. They modified it and that’s why I love it so much :DD.

Changminnie! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I really loved his parts in DBSK’s ‘Banjun Dramas’ so I’m really looking forward to seeing how well he does in his official acting debut ^-^.

First Jaejoong made his acting debut, then Yunho was confirmed a few days ago, now Changmin ♥! I’m eagerly awaiting for the announcement that Yoochun and Junsu will have their share of acting soon xD.

Although…does this mean the boys won’t be together as DBSK as much now? I hope it doesn’t mean there’s no Korean album this year :/. But then again, we can’t have everything.
